CN Cyberspace Office Fines Didi RMB8.026B

China's Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission announced that it imposed a penalty of RMB8.026 billion on Didi Global on 21 July, pursuant to the Network Security Law, Data Security Law, Personal Information Protection Law and Administrative Penalty Law.
The Office also fined the Chairman and CEO of Didi Global, Cheng Wei, as well as President Liu Qing, with RMB1 million each.
