Heritage Education Group (08195.HK) plans to join hands with Mak Minshi and Mak Ho Siu Kuen to develop early childhood education curriculum

Heritage Education Group (08195.HK) announced that the company has discussed potential cooperation with non-executive director Mak Min-shi and her mother, Mak Ho Xiaojuan (“Mrs. Mak”, together with Mak's “potential partner”) to develop early childhood education courses.

Mak Ho Siu Kuen is currently a registered occupational therapist in Hong Kong and Australia and a registered occupational therapist (pediatric) in the US. Mak Ho Siu-kuen is an expert in child development and has been involved in child and youth development for over 35 years. He received a master's degree in education from the University of Melbourne, Australia, a master's degree in health administration from the University of New South Wales, and a post-university diploma in gifted education from Monash University, Australia. Mak Ho Siu-kuen has been a visiting lecturer at the Education University of Hong Kong and the School of Continuing and Professional Studies of the University of Hong Kong.

Furthermore, thanks to numerous interviews with different media channels, he has extensive media influence and has been invited by various educational institutions and organizations to share his views and expertise on early childhood education and development. Using her professional knowledge and practical experience, Mak Ho Siu-kuen wrote two parenting books, “My Daughter Mack Minshi: A Blank Paper to Top 10” and “Maitai's Nurturing Tips: Easy, Not a Tiger Mother” to share practical suggestions and clinical experiences in nurturing children at different stages of development.

With Mak Ho Siu-kuen's deep expertise in early childhood education and development, and Mak's management consulting experience, the company is strategically seeking to enter the field of early childhood education through potential cooperation with potential partners. The directors believe that potential cooperation (if implemented) provides the Group with an opportunity to expand its promising business and diversify its business operations and customer base.
