Recently, Rong Wan Jia (02146) released the “2023 Environmental, Social and Governance Report”. The report is the fourth ESG report issued by the Group. The purpose is to disclose the Group's ESG management status and performance performance in 2023.

As a leading enterprise in China's property service industry, Rongwanjia has the first-class qualification of a national property service enterprise and is a member unit of the China Property Management Association. In 2023, the group was ranked 15th among the top 100 property service companies in China.

According to the ESG report, Rong Wanjia has established an ESG governance structure composed of a board of directors, an ESG leadership group, and an ESG working group. The board of directors is responsible for the company's overall ESG governance matters, overseeing and reviewing the company's ESG performance; reviewing and determining the company's ESG structure and strategy; reviewing and ensuring that the company establishes an appropriate and effective ESG risk management and internal control system; and reviewing and approving ESG reports. At the same time, the group has established a communication mechanism with stakeholders, has a variety of unobstructed stakeholder communication channels, actively identifies ESG issues that stakeholders are concerned about, and responds positively.

At the environmental level, the main emissions generated by Rongwan Family are greenhouse gas from energy use and harmless waste. Non-hazardous waste mainly includes office waste, household waste, food waste, and construction waste from the operation and maintenance of property management projects. In 2023, the Group's total greenhouse gas emissions were 177,871.91 tons (2022:163,187.38 tons) and 2,021.28 tons of harmless waste (2022:1,539.02 tons).

The group has implemented the concept of a low-carbon green office in the employee office process, and has formulated internal management systems such as the “Office Asset Management Measures” to standardize the practices of energy saving, emission reduction, and water conservation in office spaces. At the same time, we are continuously strengthening the cultivation of employees' environmental awareness, and actively seeking and adopting innovative practices to reduce the consumption of resources in the office process.

At the social level, Rongwanjia insists on putting people first, providing an excellent working environment and development platform for employees, actively protecting employees' rights and interests, continuously improving talent training mechanisms, encouraging healthy competition and fair selection of merit, promoting the continuous growth and development of employees, and achieving win-win, sharing and common progress between the group and employees. By the end of the reporting period, the group had a total of 7,743 employees, of which 46.2% were women and 53.8% were men.

Rong Wan Jia has formulated rules, regulations and guidance documents related to talent training, and provides personalized training courses for employees according to the responsibilities and career development stages of different jobs. Among them, for frontline employees, the group aims to improve service levels, improve service capabilities through training courses, strengthen standardized training, enable employees to understand work requirements and related operating procedures, and set up professional competency certification assessments to improve the professional skills of frontline employees. During the reporting period, the group's management training ratio was 95.52%, and the average employee training ratio was 50.90%. The average number of training hours for male employees was 38.33 hours, and the average number of training hours for female employees was 63.46 hours.

At the supply chain management level, Rongwanjia establishes fair and transparent cooperative relationships with suppliers, resolutely puts an end to any acts of corruption, and creates a clean business environment. The group carried out on-site inspections of the offices and service sites of all newly hired suppliers in 2023, and reviewed their management structure, financial status, and financial transactions. In addition, performance evaluations of service quality are carried out every month, and assessments of different dimensions are carried out for different types of suppliers.

It is worth mentioning that Rongwanjia takes supplier ESG performance into consideration in supplier admission and evaluation, responds positively to relevant environmental requirements during the procurement process, and gives priority to purchasing environmentally friendly products.

In addition, Rongwanjia adheres to a sustainable innovation and development strategy, enhances the application of intelligent systems, and combines mobile Internet, big data, artificial intelligence and other technologies to independently develop the community service app “Rice Commune” and the group's intelligent work management platform “Rice to Home” to provide owners with a full range of intelligent community living services using the “Internet+Property” model.
