DJ Ariana Grande Concert Series Coming to 'Fortnite' -- Market Talk

11:10 ET - Epic Games says its videogame "Fortnite" will host a series of free concerts by singer Ariana Grande. Five half-hour performances will take place between Friday and Sunday, and attendees will have an opportunity to unlock in-game rewards. Concerts inside videogames are popular and have provided people with a safe way to socialize during the pandemic. In April 2020, "Fortnite" hosted a three-day concert series by rapper Travis Scott that Epic said attracted 27.7M players, and in November rapper Lil Nas X garnered more than 33M views when he performed on the videogame platform "Roblox."
