Simpanan SSPN 2023 dividend 3.6% - outperforms payout 2022 3.05%

The intention for me to allocate some fund in Simpanan SSPN is mainly due to tax relief benefits (up to RM8000)+ acceptable return + zero fluctuations + can be cash out if necessary + no hidden cost.
The acceptable return means the return is expected to be comparable with or better than FD. However, this return is definitely insufficient to compensate mortgage loans or other loan interest. Thus, if ones personal income tax rate is 19% or above, then SSPN overall return still appears acceptable.
As long as the tax relief benefits is still valid (extend to 2024), SSPN is still a good option to park some allocation for possible opportunity in the future (including children future education, of course).
Will the SSPN be extended to 2025 further and so on? If no, why we still want to consider SSPN while there are plenty of investment options in the market?
