Is Intel still the company we once knew

$Intel(INTC.US)$ Intel share holders should take a hard look at Intel’s strategy and roadmap and decide they should keep their money with Intel.
CPU - not promising vs AMD, up and rising ARM for server, desktop and mobile. Compared to competitors, their tech is falling behind with poor power efficiency. High performance is obtained from consuming huge power. That is why Intel continues to lose data centre server market share to AMD and others. They are now surviving solely on their strong channel partners (gained from the past) which will slowly be eroded if they do not come up with competitve products soon.
GPU - tried to enter into GPU market and failed. currently does not offer good and promising product roadmap.
Chips Foundry - now they are going big into chips manufacturing, fighting against TSMC. So far it is all talks with no actual delivery.
Until now, there is still no concrete and promising delivery. Is this still the Intel we once knew? Do not continue to blindly follow or buy because it is cheap (sorry it is not even cheap compared to Nvidia or Apple)
Do yourself a favour and re-evaluate Intel if it is still a good stock to invest into.
(I have no vested interest in Intel)

  • Gold boost : Why are intels cpus not promising compared to amd? Do you know intel’s roadmap because I do and it looks extremely promising.

  • macfan28OP Gold boost: I did not claim no one knows Intel CPU roadmap.
In fact, it is really easy for anyone to know Intel roadmap. Google “Intel roadmap” and you get the answer. All the slides on lakes and nodes.
What I said is for investors to take a hard look at it , go beyond the surface and re-evaluate Intel they once knew. If they do and trace Intel, they will know that Intel has not been delivering their roadmap on time with quality for the last 10 years. This is a fact. Otherwise Intel will not end up like it is today. The joke on Intel 10nm++++ does not come from nothing. For GPU again they laid out a roadmap with arc, alchemist battlemage etc. First debut in 2022 but hit with performance and instability issues? ADL brought some good tech achievement in 2021 but it stalls again. Their ability to execute is a big question mark. First CPU then GPU and now we are seeing foundry having issues as well.

Anyway my posting here is purely for sharing in Moomoo community.
My intention is not to talk down Intel and gain anything out of it.
Like I said, I have no vested interest in Intel.
Do not trust my justification here. Do your homework and take a hard look to ultimately make a more informed decision.
Go beyond a simple search and get to really know the Intel company.

Last thing, if you think after your study, it is still promising and worthy of investing.
    Pls go ahead!
At the same time, pls share with the MooMoo community as well why Intel is promising so that everyone can benefit from 2nd opinion and a more balanced and objective view of the company.

  • CJWP : CPU- Not promising for next decade which including AMD as well . ARM projected to take over some market share.. however still need at least 5 to 10 years. By then it will be duopoly. depending how well 86x break through AI PC.
GPU- Not an intel core, however tag along well for value. Intel Arc graphics cards are now solid options in the budget portion. Let see how the next battlemage or so on. Intel GPU is more to compliment product than vs GPU Nvidia.
Intel Foundry- Should promising in Intel roadmap. however you wont see any clear business profit for next 2 to 3 years. Lots of wafer foundry site still on going process. In another words SPENDING money for next big demand AI wave.
Conclusion 2024.. share price might stagnant or down
2025 might see a bit of bull due to majority PC refresh. 2026-2027 could be bullish as majority Nvida, AMD, Microsft, Amazon are fabless. Thus will still rely on TSMC, By then Intel and Samsung. Intel 18A, 14A advanced foundry can be a cash cow. short term Nay..long term Yay
