Trading Review in August 2023: plagued by US FED rate hike and China Economy slow down

1) What's your P/L ratio in August? What factor contributed to it?
I don't revealed my portfolio due to privacy reasons. But I did made some profit in terms of valuation in my stocks.

2) How have your position been performing? Did you make any adjustments to them in July?
Honestly I did make some losses (who don't) due to market volatility which is mainly caused by macroeconomics factors. One such factor is FED decided to raise interest rate despite inflation cooling down and imminent of recession (slow labour market). The other is China releasing economic data which indicates slowing down in economy such as GDP forecast downgraded, export decline, unemployment etc.
The losses are in face value because I'm still holding. My position has not changed much still buying value stock at dip (prudently) and selling them when achieved my profit margin.
3) Have you had any successful trades that resulted in surprising gains this month?
There's no surprising gain (if I don't count stock value gain) but did make some profit from buying and selling call options. I'll only sell covered calls at calculated risk. I made thorough research (dyodd) before opening an option trade by looking at the price trend using TA chart and indicators (more than one), earnings and profile of the company, analyst's rating and news about market conditions. Fortunately all these information can be easily access using Moomoo apps. You can read more about my options trade experience here:

Selling options at calculated risk Important to manage fear and greed
Beside buying value stock at dip, I place a portion of profit in Moomoo cash plus which earns an average 7d return 3.66% for  $Fullerton SGD Cash Fund(SG9999005961.MF)$ and 5.20% for $CSOP USD Money Market Fund(SGXZ96797238.MF)$ (the return figure is not interest p.a.). The 2 mutual funds are enjoying positive returns daily and give me the liquidity to buy stocks or options when opportunity comes. I also benefited from value stocks in the REIT and Banking by receiving handsome dividend periodically.
