Prediction will fail

Do not judge someone's point of view by black and white, instead see things in colors, when someone is in pain they tend to think in extreme and making poor decisions.
Those who live by a crystal ball is destined to eat ground glass.
The key is not to predict the next exact outcome because no one alone can have a complete picture of reality.
Instead we need to find the right model to be able to weather the storm and cross the jungle not being killed. IF you think there isn't a way, it becomes your self fulfilling prophecy, in fact there's always a way.
For example, just to share my point of view, the following shouldn't be taken for granted, not an investment advise, please do your own due diligence:
Let say you sell a cash covered puts, when the price drops below your TP, you need to know what to do in advance, otherwise don't do the trade in the first place, one of the solution is to cut your losses by buying back the put if you aren't willing to hold the stocks, but why do you pick it in the first place? have you done enough fundamentals? Maybe you think that you don't want to hold the stock but just to trade options to generate profits, sorry there's no easy money.
The other way is when the price is nearing your TP and you think it will drop further, you can do the following to hedge:
1. Buy back the put (this will result in losses but it's fine)
2.Buy the stock, yes buy it because...
3.Sell ATM call for 6 months expiry, this will generate cash instantly, it may cover the losses of step 1, please do the calculation properly.
4.Use that cash to buy OTM put at expiry 1 week further than your sell call contract (or a month further).
5.The most important with this setup is your overall position's delta needs to be closer to 0, please read about delta neutral strategy.
In this way you will limit your maximum losses tremendously and possibly generate some profit by tweaking your position later when market condition changes.
BUT the worst risk can still happen i. e. delisting of the stock, therefore if you can't accept that, don't put beyond 5% of your net worth into it.
