$Forge Global(FRGE.US$ One of my favorites trading techniques is hunting down stocks close to a break out of a Bollinger Band squeeze. Why? THEY ARE RELIABLE! WhenBB Squeeze is ready, Many “parts and gears” of chart mechanics line up perfectly, resulting in a SOLID run.
BB squeeze can take many months or even a year of setting up before a break out occurs. I think the rule of thumb isthe Bollinger band has to be at its tightest width within a 90 day span (90 daily candles) for a successful Bollinger band squeeze to occur.
***Please remember a Bollinger Band squeeze has notning to do with a squeeze of short interest. although, with that said a Bollinger bands quiz is one of the best techniques to squeeze shorts out of a stock as the upward momentum is so strong , they are not even worth trying to fight.

here is an example of a Bollinger band squeeze which started October 12 and is still on going upward locked in that upper channel. Bollinger band squeeze can be short or long… Either way there’s always a runs worth of gains
