  • CJ The Don : Yes, it’s terrible for something like this
They submit orders in the morning and evening (I think) which means it won’t purchase at the price you chose
    Same with selling
It’s more for putting in an amount of money every check or so and either using the auto invest or choosing less volatile stocks to invest in long term

  • VertigoWalls : Stash is better for long term passive investing.  They have very specific trading windows, do not allow things like Sell Limits, and other restrictive factors which are not advantageous to trading.  But you bought GME, so you are good.  With Stash you HODL

  • krezzOP CJ The Don: good to know thank you! What about the sell limit? like let's say the stock does go crazy and hits 1mil, does stash have limits on pulling out that much?

  • CJ The Don krezzOP: I don’t believe so, but can tell you I lost $400 between the time it took to buy and sell my shares back in January and said eff that app, and only talking x amount of shares here

  • CJ The Don krezzOP: If it goes to a Mil, and you decide to sell, it might sell while it’s climbing or in a massive drop when it decides to execute

  • krezzOP CJ The Don: that would be extremely unfortunate but I'm not sure I can afford to sell it and rebuild while its climbing ao hopefully I don't get screwed lmao, I guess all I can do now is HODL, thank you for all your advice its helped alot :)

  • krezzOP krezzOP: rebuy*

  • VertigoWalls krezzOP: Not that I have seen, but if the ride is not sustained, you may miss the high point when you try to sell.  Be careful with trying to cash out a high IV stock with them.
