Moomoo made CNN Underscored’s list of the best day trading platforms as “best for traders focused on price action.” This is because Moomoo offers excellent charting and technical analysis tools.

Specifically on options, Moomoo doesn’t charge per-contract fees for equity options (index options are $0.50 per contract) and has one of the lowest margin rates we have seen at 6.8% on balances between $50,000 and $99,999. At its website, Moomoo clearly lays out the savings traders can realize if they go with a brokerage that doesn’t charge contract fees. At the industry standard $0.65, you’ll pay $65 to trade 100 contracts. So, if you’re active or trade in relatively large size, this can add to your costs and eat away at profits.
