LAC's IV at 87 with HV only 47 — that's a fat gap

Pulled up the vol on Lithium Americas and yeah, IV's sitting at 87.24% while realized is way down at 47.12%. That's a big spread. Options are pricing almost double the movement this thing has actually delivered lately, so premium here isn't cheap — you're paying up for a move the tape hasn't shown yet. Down 2.29% on the day too, nothing dramatic in the price action to justify that gap on its own.What keeps me a little honest is moomoo's Volatility...

LAC — IV 87 vs HV 47, that gap again

Still sitting on this one. IV up at 87% but realized only 47% — options pricing way more move than lithium's actually giving. Saw it on moomoo's Volatility Analysis. Rich premium, or the market knows something. Dunno.

That LAC IV Rank is only 7 though

Here's the weird part — IV's 87% but IV Rank's just 7, so this is actually low for LAC's own year. moomoo's Volatility Analysis had it. High absolute number, cheap relative to itself. Lithium names always look like this to me — whippy. Hm.
