Insiders made the right call by buying CA$1.8m Facedrive Inc. (CVE:FD) stock this year, currently sit on CA$112k profit

Facedrive Inc. (CVE:FD) insiders who acquired shares over the previous 12 months, can probably afford to ignore the recent 17% decline in the stock price. Reason being, despite the recent loss, insiders original purchase value of CA$1.8m is now worth CA$1.9m.

While insider transactions are not the most important thing when it comes to long-term investing, we would consider it foolish to ignore insider transactions altogether.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Facedrive

The CEO & Director Suman Pushparajah made the biggest insider purchase in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for CA$1.0m worth of shares at a price of CA$0.64 each. That means that an insider was happy to buy shares at around the current price of CA$0.68. Of course they may have changed their mind. But this suggests they are optimistic. We do always like to see insider buying, but it is worth noting if those purchases were made at well below today's share price, as the discount to value may have narrowed with the rising price. Happily, the Facedrive insiders decided to buy shares at close to current prices. We note that Suman Pushparajah was both the biggest buyer and the biggest seller.

Happily, we note that in the last year insiders paid CA$1.8m for 2.81m shares. But insiders sold 350.00k shares worth CA$430k. In the last twelve months there was more buying than selling by Facedrive insiders. You can see the insider transactions (by companies and individuals) over the last year depicted in the chart below.
