The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At QAF

In fact, the recent purchase by Lin Kejian was the biggest purchase of QAF shares made by an insider individual in the last twelve months, according to our records. That means that an insider was happy to buy shares at around the current price of S$0.79. While their view may have changed since the purchase was made, this does at least suggest they have had confidence in the company's future. We do always like to see insider buying, but it is worth noting if those purchases were made at well below today's share price, as the discount to value may have narrowed with the rising price. The good news for QAF share holders is that an insider was buying at near the current price. Lin Kejian was the only individual insider to buy shares in the last twelve months.

Insider Ownership Of QAF

I like to look at how many shares insiders own in a company, to help inform my view of how aligned they are with insiders. I reckon it's a good sign if insiders own a significant number of shares in the company. QAF insiders own 65% of the company, currently worth about S$295m based on the recent share price. Most shareholders would be happy to see this sort of insider ownership, since it suggests that management incentives are well aligned with other shareholders.
