The time of trading sessions for the US stock market is based on Eastern Time (ET), for simplicity the equivalent time in Malaysia is stated in Malaysian Standard Time (MST).
US stocks are allowed to trade before and after the regular trading hours (RTH), and orders placed during these extended hours will be submitted to the stock exchanges for matching. Nasdaq has specified its own pre-market and post-market trading sessions. Different brokerage firms have different requirements for these sessions. Moomoo MY sets its rules as follows.
