What is instant buying power

Instant buying power is granted to your stock trading account while your ACH deposit is on the way. It helps you start investing right away.

Trading Limits

Interest-Free

No interest is charged for using instant buying power.

If you have a loan from Futu when you receive instant buying power, it will be used to offset the corresponding interest-bearing amount of the loan in the short term, which means you have used the instant buying power instantly.

Note:

• When you trade using Instant Buying Power, your account balance may be negative. When your deposit arrives, the corresponding negative balance will be offset.

Upper Limits

You can check your maximum instant buying power by going to [Deposit > Deposit via ACH > Instant Buying Power].

2. If the net worth of your stock trading account is more than 0, your maximum instant buying power will be up to $10,000 depending on the actual net worth of your stock trading account.

The instant buying power will be withdrawn automatically after your ACH deposit lands in your account or seven business days after you initiated the ACH deposit.
