        How can I do margin trading or short selling

        1. How many net assets should I have if I want to use margin

        If your net assets are less than 2,000 USD, you may not use margin or borrow stocks from Moomoo Financial Inc.;

        If you have net assets of 2,000 USD or more, you can buy on margin and sell short; but

        If your net assets become less than 2,000 USD, Moomoo Financial Inc. will stop lending margin or stocks to you.

        2. If you already have a margin account:

        a. Margin trading: If you do not have sufficient funds when buying a stock, margin will be used by default;

        b. Short selling: If you do not have a long position in a stock, you short sell it by selling it.

        3. Can I disable the margin feature

        Since the account you opened with Moomoo Financial Inc. is a margin account, you may not disable the margin feature.

        Margin trading entails greater risk, including, but not limited to, risk of loss and incurrence of margin interest debt, and is not suitable for all investors. Please assess your financial circumstances and risk tolerance before trading on margin.

        When short selling there is no limit on how high a stock price could rise so the potential loss is unlimited. Other risks include dividend risk and margin risk, this strategy is not appropriate for all investors.
