Moomoo today announced the second year of its partnership with W!se, a New York City-based educational nonprofit, with the return of the Student Stock Showdown challenge, a 13-week paper trading competition for high schools across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Building on the success of the 2025 challenge, the initiative gives high school students an opportunity to strengthen their financial knowledge and develop practical investing skills through hands-on practice with virtual funds.

Through Moomoo’s paper trading platform, students can apply classroom lessons to simulated investment decisions using real-time market data, research and charting tools. The experience allows students to explore how markets work, evaluate investment ideas and see how their decisions affect a portfolio, all without putting real money at risk.

“Finance doesn’t have to feel mysterious — it’s something that everyone can learn, explore and feel confident about,” said Neil McDonald, CEO of Moomoo U.S. “At Moomoo, that belief is at the center of everything we do. Continuing our work with W!se brings that commitment into the classroom, helping students build the knowledge and judgment that support informed investment decisions and long-term wealth building.”

The inaugural Student Stock Showdown brought a 13-week simulated investing competition to high school classrooms across New York State. In February 2026, Moomoo and W!se recognized Queens Gateway to Health Sciences Secondary School as the winning school, awarding $10,000 to support its financial literacy and academic programming. Participating educators were also recognized for their commitment to financial education.

“Every student should have the opportunity to build the financial knowledge they will need as an adult,” said David Anderson, President and CEO of W!se. “Our second year with Moomoo allows us to build on the connection between classroom learning and practical investing experience. We want students to develop the confidence to ask questions, evaluate information and think carefully about risk, creating a foundation to support their financial goals.”

The partnership reflects Moomoo’s belief that broader access to markets should be matched by greater access to education. Technology has brought market data, analytics and execution tools once reserved for professional traders and hedge funds within reach of individual investors. Across its broader platform, Moomoo combines these capabilities with educational resources and tools such as paper trading, options strategy builders, scenario analysis and portfolio visualization to help users properly assess potential outcomes and inform their investing strategy.

As retail investing continues to evolve, Moomoo envisions a future with greater access to innovations across AI, advanced analytics, social investing, multi-asset portfolios and emerging asset classes. Moomoo’s continued work with W!se supports the financial education students will need to navigate evolving market conditions and approach investing with informed judgment.
