Want to open an account with moomoo? Just follow these several simple steps!
Step 1
Open moomoo app to register. After registering, you can tap on Trade, and then tap on Get Started to open an account.
Step 2
Tap on Next to begin the setup process via your Australian driver's License or your passport. Finish your basic information, residential address and tax information.
About tax file number:
If you have applied for a TFN, please consult your tax bill or the Australian Taxation Office. For other countries, please consult your local tax agency.
If your tax country has not given you a taxpayer identification number, you can select 'Do not declare a TFN or provide later' in the drop-down selection box.
Step 3
Fill in your investment experience and financial situation.
Step 4
Choose ID Type to verification, for example, Driver's Licence or Passport.
If you choose to use Driver's Licence, please fill in your driver's licence number, state of issue and expiry date.
If you choose to use Passport, please fill in your passport number, country/region of issue, expiry date and upload passport photo.
Step 5
Read and agree with the Customer Declaration.
New accounts are usually approved within the same day. After receiving your request, we will inform you immediately once your account is approved.
