        Views 6832023.11.01

Analyst Ratings can offer investors a wealth of information to help with trading decisions but keeping an eye on changes can be time-consuming. Whether it's understanding a ratings adjustment or questioning an analyst's ratings reliability, our recently enhanced, in-depth Analyst Ratings feature can offer insights to these questions and more, right at your fingertips.

Using our newly updated Analyst Ratings tool, Moomoo users can now access historical tracking of stock targets and detailed ratings from Wall Street analysts and institutions. They can also get stock ideas from seasoned analysts ranked by performance and receive alerts of the latest rating changes to catch potential market opportunities faster — all at no cost. Ready to be well-informed?

What are the key features of moomoo's Analyst Ratings tool?

        • Compare analyst performances

Turning to professional analyst ratings can offer guidance to help make better investment decisions. We help users identify analysts by ranking them based on their success rates (derived from the number of the analyst's successful ratings for a specific stock, divided by his/her total number of ratings over the past year. Success Rate is calculated by TipRanks, an independent 3rd party) and past track records. By discovering and following analysts with these attributes, you can make more informed decisions and potentially align your strategies with professionals carrying a history of covering their select companies.

        • Receive timely alerts

Timing is an important factor when investing in the stock market. That's why moomoo keeps you up to date with valuable stock news. With our timely alerts, you can receive notifications from the app when outside analysts you’re following change their target stock prices. This valuable feature allows you to potentially seize market opportunities faster and make timely adjustments to your portfolio.

        • Visualize data

Displaying analysts' ratings isn't just about reading a list. Our platform offers visualized historical tracking of target prices, enabling you to see how analysts' forecasts have fared over a year. Additionally, you can now compare target prices with actual stock trends from over 4,000 analysts and 250+ institutions. This visualization provides a comprehensive view of stock performance and empowers users to make data-driven choices.

        • Gain Free Access to Premium Insights

Typically, accessing detailed information from reputable financial institutions comes with a price tag. However, moomoo provides valuable data from TipRanks, an online analyst ratings aggregator, and Wall Street institutions for free. By democratizing access to premium insights, moomoo empowers retail investors with the tools they need to make more informed investment decisions.

With our upgraded Analyst Ratings feature, you're ready to begin trading smarter. Let's go.

How can you get started with Analyst Ratings?

To begin, you'll need to go to the Stock Quotes page. Here's how to access the page on the moomoo app: Select a stock > go to company tab > profile tab > Analyst Ratings.

Our new "detailed ratings" offers comprehensive rating data from nearly 250 Wall Street institutions and more than 4,000 outside analysts. With this powerful feature, you can delve deeper into rating changes and assess their credibility. Here's what you'll be able to do:

        • Access the collective assessment of a stock's potential through a group of financial analysts derived from individual analyst ratings and recommendations. This typically includes designations such as "Buy," "Sell," "Hold," or other variations.

        • View projected or estimated target stock or security prices by analysts and institutions, sorted by a specific time period.

        • Access ratings from different analysts on a specific stock over a one-year period.

        • See all ratings from institutions for a specific stock over a one-year period.

        • Subscribe to specific analysts or institutions for target price or rating change alerts.

You can also access Analyst Ratings from the Markets tab. Go to Markets tab > US > Analyst Ratings

With the Analyst Rating feature under the Markets tab, you can explore potential market opportunities by reviewing Top Analysts, Rating Changes, and more.

Moomoo users can also sort rating changes by upgrade, downgrade, and new to view valuable insights into different market sentiments. The bell icon on the top right corner allows you to manage subscriptions to analysts or institutions, ensuring you receive timely alerts about any changes in ratings.

Why should you use Analyst Ratings now?

Moomoo's Analyst Ratings helps users identify Wall Street and institutional analysts to review their ratings and price targets on covered stocks as well as set up alerts to notify whenever there’s a change to a rating or target price. With Moomoo, you can view and utilize this valuable information--all at your fingertips, for free.
