$AMC Entertainment (AMC.US)$ This is a direct offering to specific institutions, not a ATM. It is expected to close tomorrow.
$AMC Entertainment (AMC.US)$ When was the last time AMC got a price target increase higher than the current price? Zero that I can remember in the last 5 years.

$AMC Entertainment (AMC.US)$ Monday’s domestic box office was $22.7M. I did not expect that.

$AMC Entertainment (AMC.US)$ Mario did $34M on a Wednesday opening. Beating the original 2023 film opening of 31.7M. Great start to Q2.

$AMC Entertainment (AMC.US)$ Who bought / sold 4.4M shares just now? We don’t normally see these come through in the premarket. Does someone know something? Hopefully, we see the 8k that the offering is done soon.

$AMC Entertainment (AMC.US)$ Q1 ends in 4 trading days. If AMC wants the $150M in cash raised to show up on the Q1 report they’ll need to end the ATM offering before April. Remember this was a mix offering of ATM and forward sales agreement with Goldman Sachs. I could be wrong, but I suspect the plan is to end the ATM in Q1 and sell the remaining shares to GS at the average VWAP price. We’ll find out soon enough.
$Webull (BULL.US)$ removing PTD rule should help trading volume, which should help profits.

$AMC Entertainment (AMC.US)$ What is the short thesis here? Q1 cash burn? Q2 box office should surpass Q1 by Friday, and there are 5 weeks of the quarter remaining. With free cash flow coming for the next 9 months in there’s no need to dilute at this time. ITM calls a few weeks out have very little premium right now.
