$PayPal (PYPL.US)$ last month or more I give an advice for someone asking if PayPal is a good entry and could rebound. I did some brief analysis discussion and some idiot decide to flame me up. looking at the price now I really want to laugh at him who is telling others the price will rebound and advising others 50+ is a good entry.🤣😂

for long term investor, this is a 300 storey falling knife, price is around 2015 price range, basically if you buy at 2015 it's now near 0 profit (big loss if include time factor), only suitable for short term buy dip sell profit. will there be rebound? maybe or should be, how much, I don't know. my advice is it's better to take some profit after every dip rebound. the volume is not there for continuous gain.

1. customer = revenue

ask yourself this, do you use apple/Google pay or online bank transfer instead of PayPal? what's the chances of you switching to use PayPal? it's a great fintech at its time, but it's old story now. the annual customer base is ever shrinking. can no longer compete with apple or Google Pay. it's like everyone have email but you still writing letter?

2. blockchain

it's related/partially to Blockchain/bitcoin, so more downward pressure.

3. report/CEO

miss earning and new CEO, unless he can deliver some solid hope and facts, prices ain't going anywhere. any big jump up will be purely hype/pumpdump without a performance result or solid news.

4. small subsidiary

good news is some small sub is performing well and it's solid 6+Billion revenue with regular buyback. prices are easing a little and if new CEO can reverse, a strong rebound is possible with it's massive cash to stabilise the price.

5. is it good entry?

40 and below looks like a good bet, since the new CEO have a ton of cash, will move in to stabilise the price from keep dropping sharply. technical chart and valuation all looks good now for a small rebound.

it's still a cash cow, can do many stuffs in its current position. buy dip take partial profit is important in a bear stock, don't hope for long term gain until the company have some solid positive news. I don't think a strong bull rally will come, if there is, probably some pumpdump shit again.
