Wifes portfolio is $VANGUARD INVESTMENTS CANADA INC S&P 500 INDEX ETF(VFV.CA$ , $Valdor Technology International Inc(VTI.CA$ , $ISHARES S&P/TSX 60 INDEX ETF UNIT(XIU.CA$ and $VANGUARD FTSE CANADA INDEX ETF TRUST UNIT(VCE.CA$ . It was handily beating my dividend stocks...at least until I realised that her total included our sons' RESP.
We put the same into each of our accounts per pay, but pay separately into the RESP.
Now they have similar returns.

VDY, VFV, ZEB, XDV and FIE.
VDY, XDV, and ZEB are bank and finance heavy but pay a decent monthly dividend
I like FIE cause it trades around 7 bucks a share and pays a monthly .04 dividend, room to grow a bit and cheap to buy![]()

I currently hold VFV and VOO but I'm not sure if I should just go all in one of them instead of holding both.
