Here's how much Nvidia matters to major ETFs
Nvidia's rapid rise over the past year has driven its market cap above $1.6 trillion and made it a large component of many exchange-traded funds that track indexes. That means that the direction of Nvidia's stock after the earnings report will hav...
Recap
Towards the end of the trading hours, we did not see a spike, which means buyers weren’t stepping in.
It could be due to the long weekend and hence sellers came in to take profits (reduce risk). At the same time, it could also mean the weakness may continue into this week.
First hour of regular trading today could see whipsaw movements as the market finds its direction. Let it sett...
Not everything needs to be meme and penny stocks
Swapped the majority of my 401k to this on 10/31 and it's been killin it ever since
Tech is *hot* right now
Why is QQQ the recommended ETF over QQQM or VGT?
Same with SPY over VOO. VOO has a better expense ratio and better returns. Why is Reddit so pro QQQ and SPY? Am I missing something?$Invesco QQQ Trust(QQQ.US)$$Invesco NASDAQ 100 ETF(QQQM.US)$$Vanguard Information Technology ETF(VGT.US)$$SPDR S&P 500 ETF(SPY.US)$$Vanguard S&P 500 ETF(VOO.US)$

September
On average, September is the month when the US stock market's three leading indexes usually perform the poorest. Some have called this the "September Effect."

Don’t be too eager
The Fed’s decision on interest rate hike will be out at 2am, and Powell will speak at 230am.
The investment world wants to know what’s his plan for the rest of the year. Another rate? Pause? Watch and see?
Is the core inflation still very sticky?

“Complete” bull run
Rate hikes campaign could be over soon, though rate cut may not happen in the near term.
Megacap stocks are rallying like nobody’s business.
Next up, investors would want the smaller cap stocks to join this rally to make this bull run “complete”.
And I think this period is quite timely as companies report their earnings. We shall see if the smaller companies can give us some good results.
