Are rate cut hopes diminishing further after payroll data is showing a resilient economy? Some volatility in the major indices occurred once the data was released.
If the economy continues to show strength, then the Fed will not be cutting interest rates in March.
Yields shot up after the data release. This will bring up the dollar and put pressure on equities.
It looks like this selling is happening near a short-term technical level. ...

MonkeyGee : The economy is not as good as they have portraited. Employment only reflects people who are on unemployment within 6 months. After 6 months, they are no longer included in that number, even if you are still unemployed. The stock market only looks health on the surface. The market is up mainly because of 7 stocks, majority of the stocks are still at 52 low or all time low.
