Actual vs Estimated EPS

I was wondering if market multiples for 2025 might be understated because "companies sandbag" and EPS estimates just march higher over time - so that by the time we reach January of next year, the current 2025 SPY 19x EPS multiple ends up actually being 17-18x, etc.
Yeah - turns out that's not the case at all historically.

$Taiwan Semiconductor(TSM.US)$ reported quarterly earnings of $1.38 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.32 by 4.55 percent.
TSM reported quarterly sales of $18.873 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $18.395 billion by 2.60 percent. That is a 12.88 percent increase over sales of $16.719 billion the same period last year.

Mixed Market Movement -> United Health Potential

Tuesday (16 April) trading session was hit by volatility by major indexes. The S&P 500 experienced a slight decrease of 0.2%, while the Nasdaq Composite saw a marginal decline of 0.1%.
The only one that has managed to provide a modest increase of 0.2% was Dow Jones Industrial Average. The increase was being supported by a significant increase from $UnitedHealth(UNH.US)$ which urged 5.2% following its earnings announcement.
