TAIPEI (Reuters) -Nvidia is evaluating how to address the China market after the U.S. government placed limits on sales of its Hopper H20 chip there but will not put out another version from the Hopper series, CEO Jensen Huang said on Saturday.

The impact of a credit downgrade

$Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC.US)$ I lived through the past two downgrades one during Obama's administration the other during Biden's administration, the stock market itself really was not impacted. and that was because you still had initially it was two credit agencies that had the US at AAA and then you had one that rated the US AAA.

I was thinking in the middle of the night last night what are the impacts the first is I think it's go...

104128755 : well S&P global downgraded to AA+ in 2011 and market dropped 6-7% on Monday. Fitch downgraded to AA+ on August 2023 and market only dropped 1%. None the less, AAA and AA+ is just differential in terms of grading system with AAA being Prime and AA+ being High grade. Risk weight still 0% anyways. Doesn’t help that Moody’s maintained AAA rating during 2008 Financial Crisis and before Lehmann’s brothers bankruptcy. We’ll see how market react though since it’s pretty much algo-driven right now

10baggerbamm OP MonkeyGee : it is an absolute disgrace.. when you compound that with that piece of shit call me you really see how people want Trump to fail and much worse things by the way judging from that picture that he posted on his Facebook page because you know damn well what his intentions are. I think most rational people right now can understand president Trump loves the United States l, he's setting the United States up for the next industrial revolution. and while the first 70 or so days were extremely rough in the stock market very painful we've now crossed through that hurricane we've crossed through the part where in order to make The Omelette you break some eggs.. and we're beginning to see as a result the benefits and the fact that countries are sitting down they are negotiating and the terms are benefiting the United States significantly. additionally we see these deals that President Trump has made with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar the UAE over the past several days. there's never been another president in the history of the United States that has brought this much business in and it did not cost taxpayers a dime. imagine bowling president Trump is the greatest salesperson ever for Boeing and he didn't even get a commission check.
so it is a disgrace to have people embedded in the government who have an agenda that is set on doing whatever it takes to have President Trump fail and I believe that the individuals at this particular credit agency have a very left leaning slant because the US should have been downgraded under Biden not under Trump.
