Investment bank Moelis & Co. is investigating a violent incident involving an employee. A video circulating online shows a senior Moelis banker assaulting a woman in the street. The employee is currently on leave. The video, which was posted on social media platform X, shows a man assaulting a woman on the ground. The man's jacket is clearly wet and he is criticized by onlookers as he leaves the scene. "We are aware that one of our employees was involved in a serious incident that occurred in Brooklyn on June 8th," Moelis said in a Monday email. "We take this matter very seriously and are investigating it during this period."
