On the afternoon of June 3, Beijing time, Microsoft plans to invest $3.2 billion in Sweden for AI and cloud computing facilities, marking its largest infrastructure investment in the Nordic country to date. This move will strengthen the tech giant's footprint in Sweden, adding 20,000 graphics processors (GPUs) to its three data centers. According to a statement on Monday, the company also committed to training 250,000 people in "basic AI skills." Microsoft Vice Chairman and President Brad Smith said: "This massive investment reflects our belief in how Sweden can greatly benefit from AI."
