American businessman Elon Musk said on social media platform X on Wednesday that Dell Technologies and Supermicro will provide server racks for xAI, the artificial intelligence startup company founded by Elon Musk. Musk said on X that Dell is assembling half of the racks for xAI's supercomputer. In response to a post asking about the second partner, the billionaire referred to SMC, which refers to the server manufacturer Supermicro. San Francisco-based Supermicro confirmed its collaboration with xAI, the company behind chips such as Nvidia.
