BHP released their production results for the nine months ending on the 31st of March, as well as their results for the first quarter of 2024.

I still expect a larger drop coming, I would watch for Israel to hit nuclear facilities in Iran, which would lead to more selling as it would show an escalation and a nuclear element. Money Thrill : The British market is cheap and will remain so as a result of Brexit. Higher stock exchange costs. Not euros but British pond . And financial institutions moving to Europe ... And cheap is not the same as "good to buy". As investor I changed my view towards VS and do not buy, any more, British shares. And now in my bank is a 50% promotion on American and European stocks on a broker's fee.

Construction of TSMC's European factory should start in the fourth quarter of this year, TSMC confirmed during its Technology Symposium near Amsterdam. The factory, which has been discussed for years, will mainly focus on chip production for automakers and industrial applications. TSMC says it will produce 22nm and 12nm chips there. Mass production is scheduled to begin in 2027.
The factory is not only being built by TSMC. The company is setting up a joint venture for this purpose: " ... European Semiconductor Manufacturing Company... !!! ", or ESMC. This company, whose logo TSMC unveiled to journalists this week, is backed by Bosch, Infineon and NXP. They will each have a 10 percent share in the joint venture, without any control.
The factory involves an investment of 10 billion euros. TSMC is investing 3.5 billion euros for this, while the three partner companies each invest 500 million euros. The remaining 5 billion euros is financed with subsidies from the German government. This subsidy still has to be approved by the European Commission. Kevin Zhang tells journalists that the company is confident that approval will come.
