$American International Group(AIG.US)$ Goldman Sachs analyst Alex Scott began to cover American International Group (AIG.N) with a confident buy rating and a target price of $74. The analyst said that he is optimistic about AIG because it expects that its general insurance business should continue to increase profit margins, general insurance growth should exceed expectations, and provide substantial spending flexibility. Scott added that he expects the company to have a stronger return on equity improvement plan, and believes that, relative to expectations, stock repurchases will bring a substantial increase.
