The company, formerly known as Yueyang Paper Mill, was founded in 1958. In 2000, Hunan Yueyang Paper Group Co., Ltd. (later renamed “Hunan Teglin Paper Group Co., Ltd.”) as the main sponsor initiated the establishment of Yueyang Paper Co., Ltd., which was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in May 2004, and Yueyang Paper changed its name on June 1, 2011. The company's main business is research and development, production and sales of pulp, machine paper, paper products, special rubber plugs for paper core tubes, cellulose, chemical products, construction and sales of real estate, design and construction of municipal utilities, landscaping services, and development and sales of carbon sink products. The company's main products are cultural paper (including office paper), packaging paper (including food wrapping paper), industrial paper, ecological engineering business, and carbon sink business. Corporate honors: Honors such as “National Key Leading Enterprise in Agricultural Industrialization” and “National Forestry Industry Outstanding Contribution Award” were rated as the first batch of “National Forest Seed Resource Bank” by the State Forestry Administration on December 4, 2009.
