The Group is a leading coke producer and processor of coking by-products in the coking industry in Henan Province. The Group operates a vertically integrated business model from coke production to processing coking by-products into derivative chemicals and energy products along the coking industry chain in the coal chemical industry. The Group's vertically integrated business model enables the Group to maximize the value of coking by-products, thereby enabling the Group to achieve a business model with high recycling and reuse. With the Group's many years of operation in the coal chemical coking industry and long-term business relationships with coal suppliers, the Group is also engaged in trading coal, coke, liquefied natural gas (“LNG”) and non-ferrous metal materials. These businesses are mainly carried out through the Group's trading companies. In order to continuously strive to expand the vertically integrated business model and expand the product portfolio along the coking industry chain in the coal chemical industry, the Group has been actively expanding the production and sales business of LNG and hydrogen in recent years. In the fiscal year 2023, the Group's revenue mainly came from the following major business segments: Coke: involves the production and sale of coke; Derivative chemicals: involving the processing of coking by-products into a range of phenyl- and coal-tar-based derivative chemicals and the sale of such by-products; Energy products: Involves processing coke oven gas into gas, refining the gas into LNG, and selling gas and LNG. At the same time, it is also sold by extracting hydrogen from gas; and Trade: It mainly involves trading coal, coke, hydrogen and LNG.
