Tianjin Port Development Holdings Co., Ltd. was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Limited on May 24, 2006 (stock code: 03382). The Group began operating as a bulk cargo terminal at Tianjin Port in 1968, then expanded to container handling business in 1980. In February 2010, the Group completed the acquisition of 56.81% interest in Tianjin Port Co., Ltd. Currently, the Group is the main port operator of Tianjin Port. It is mainly engaged in container and bulk cargo handling business, sales business, and port supporting service business. The Group has advanced container terminals, specialized coke terminals, specialized coal terminals, specialized ore terminals, specialized rolling terminals, and 300,000-ton crude oil terminals. Tianjin Port is located at the intersection of the Beijing-Tianjin urban belt and the Bohai Rim economic circle. It is one of the ports with the most complete functions of a coastal port and terminal. It is the largest comprehensive port in northern China and an important port for foreign trade. It serves 14 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions in China, and is a link connecting Northeast Asia and radiating Central and West Asia. In the first half of 2023, in terms of total cargo throughput, Tianjin Port was the eighth largest port in China; in terms of total container throughput, Tianjin Port ranked sixth in China.
