Company historical background Lai's Construction was established in the Macao Special Administrative Region in 1987 and registered as a qualified builder with the Macao Land Works and Transport Authority in 1989. Its main business is construction engineering, renovation work, repair and maintenance engineering services. Over the past 30 years, the company has continued to expand its business in Macau and Hong Kong. Lai's main clients are hotel and casino developers and owners, international retailers, restaurants, land owners and the Macau Government. Lai's Construction passed the assessment in 2009 and was issued the ISO 9001:2008 international quality management system certification. Last year, it also obtained the ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 international occupational safety and environmental management system certifications.
