The Group is a contractor with a long history of undertaking construction projects in Hong Kong, and can undertake civil engineering works as the main contractor or subcontractor. Our civil engineering projects can be broadly divided into road and drainage works and site preparation projects. We also provide construction work. We are registered as contractors in the site preparation category (Group B (trial period)), road and drainage category (group B (trial period)), and road and drainage category (group C (trial period)) on the list of approved contractors maintained by the Development Council, so we can directly bid for public works contracts with varying contract amounts within these project categories. We mainly provide civil engineering, which can be broadly classified as (i) road and drainage works; and (ii) site preparation works. We are also carrying out construction work. The Group's operations at construction sites are subject to certain environmental requirements in accordance with Hong Kong law, such as the Air Pollution Control Ordinance, the Noise Control Ordinance, the Water Pollution Control Ordinance and the Waste Disposal Ordinance. We are committed to minimising the negative impact of our business operations on the environment, and have implemented an environmental management system certified to meet the requirements of ISO 14001:2015. We hold various licenses and qualifications relating to our operations, and are also registered as a registered specialist trade contractor/subcontractor under the Construction Industry Council's Subcontractor Registration System. The directors believe that the listing will be an important milestone for the Group after many years of development, and the Group has achieved many milestones: Group B (trial period) registered in the Site Preparation category and Group B (trial period) under the road and drainage category in 2007 and 2009, respectively, was promoted from Group B (trial period) under the Roads and Drainage category to Group B (confirmation period) and Group C (trial period) in the Roads and Drainage category respectively in 2014 and 2016, and further registered in Group B (trial period) in the Roads and Drainage Services category in 2018, and the listing will create new value for the Company and lead us into the next stage of growth potential.
