Since 2012, JBB Builders has been one of the major offshore construction participants in Malaysia and also has an outstanding record of undertaking large-scale offshore construction projects. According to the Ipsos report, we ranked first among major active industry players in 2016 based on providing land reclamation services. From 2013 to 2017, the Company's reclaimed land is estimated to account for about 41.5% based on the total reclaimed land area of Johor, and the Group's market share in the offshore construction industry in Johor based on the provision of reclamation services in 2016 is estimated to be about 33.0%. Focusing on offshore construction services, we apply our expertise and skills to manage and coordinate projects for different subcontractors, while we ourselves focus on gravel treatment/landfill, which we consider to be a critical part of the reclamation process. Across all activities, JBB Builders plans, coordinates and manages its internal technical team and external consultants to provide a wide range of expertise, such as hydrological surveying, pre-reclamation design, gravel treatment and landfill. The Group's strategy as the main subcontractor and entrusting subcontractors to subcontractors under the supervision and management of the Group's project team can establish an effective business model, particularly when dealing with expandable marine construction projects.
