The Group's history dates back to 1991, when WGC was co-founded by his father and another Singaporean family member, Mr. Wu Tianzong. Mr. Wu Tiansong came to Singapore in 1977 and has since worked in the construction industry. With years of experience, expertise and insight into the construction industry, Mr. Wu Tiansong used the savings he had accumulated from his previous work to establish WGC with his family to seize opportunities in the civil engineering industry in Singapore. In 1992, Mr. Wu Tiansong co-founded WGT (formerly Lee Ann Construction Pte Ltd) with one of his family members and an independent third party to further seize opportunities in civil engineering in Singapore. WGE was founded in 1998 to expand our business scope to seize opportunities in road milling and surface paving services. In 2004, WGL began focusing on logistics business to support our operations. Over the years, the Group has developed into a civil engineering provider specializing in civil engineering utilities by adopting various methods including excavation methods and non-excavation methods (such as cable tunneling, horizontal directional drilling, pipe jacking, and guided screwing). Perform contract works relating to the installation of cabling, telecommunications and fiber-optic networks, sewage piping, and road milling and surfacing services, and ancillary support and other services. Thanks to the leadership and efforts of our directors and senior management, we have expanded our business to become a well-known contractor in the civil engineering utilities sector in Singapore.
