Shuanghua Holdings Co., Ltd., formerly known as Shanghai Shuanghua Auto Parts Co., Ltd., began business operations as early as 1997, and began restructuring in 2010 to become the current Shuanghua Holdings Co., Ltd. The Group is currently China's leading independent supplier of automotive air conditioning system (HVAC) components (“automotive air conditioning system” - commonly known as “HVAC” in the industry - an abbreviation for “Heating, Cooling and Cooling” in English). Its main business is the design, production and sale of various types of automotive HVAC parts including evaporators, condensers, heater cores and compressors. Our main operating entities are Shanghai Shuanghua, Shanghai Xigo Petroleum, Shuanghua Auto Parts, Youshen Industrial, and Shuanghua Machinery. The products are mainly sold to domestic OEM and international maintenance market customers. According to the Frost & Sullivan report, based on sales volume in China in 2010, we are the largest independent supplier of evaporators and condensers and the second largest independent supplier of heater cores. The company's production site in Fengxian District, Shanghai, China has two production sites. As of December 31, 2010, the total annual production capacity of evaporators, condensers and heater cores was 3,456,000 units, while the annual production capacity of compressors reached 150,000 units. Our self-produced products are marketed under our own brands “Shuanghua (Shuanghua)” and “Youshen (Youshen)”. In 2009, our evaporators, condensers, and heaters marketed under the “Shuanghua (Shuanghua)” brand were recognized as “Shanghai Famous Brand Products” by the Shanghai Famous Brand Product Recommendation Committee Office, an affiliate of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, and our “” trademark was also designated as a “Shanghai Famous Trademark” by the Shanghai Administration for Industry and Commerce in 2009. Furthermore, our operating subsidiary Shanghai Shuanghua was rated as a “Brand Enterprise” by the relevant authorities in Shanghai in 2007, a “High-tech Enterprise” from 2006 to 2010, and “Foreign-invested Advanced Technology Enterprise” by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce in 2009. The Group has a diverse and stable customer base in domestic and foreign markets. It has also obtained certification from a wide range of domestic and foreign joint venture HVAC system suppliers, supplies components directly to them, and finally supplies them to major Chinese automobile manufacturers after assembly, including Great Wall Motor and BYD, for use in different car models. The Group also successfully established a strategic Max Baoding joint venture with Great Wall Motor in 2004, which specializes in supplying automotive HVAC system products to Great Wall Motor to further promote the Group's vertical integration in the market. In addition, the Group's products are also supplied to the international repair market. The marketing network covers more than 20 countries and regions.
