Guangze International Development Co., Ltd. (formerly Guangze Properties Limited) (“Guangze”; together with its subsidiaries collectively the “Group”) was established in 1990 and has been listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Limited since 1997 (stock code: 989). The Group's business covers the three major fields of property development management, property investment and retail management services. In terms of property development management business, the Group completed the acquisition of 35% interest in the Changbaishan real estate project in Jilin, China in October 2013, and obtained the right to manage the project. The integrated real estate project is expected to develop into a high-end resort covering six-star hotels, theme parks, detached bungalows and condominiums. Seeing that the importance of the property investment business is becoming more and more prominent, the Group divided property investment into independent business segments in September 2013. The Group's current investment properties are all located in Hong Kong, China. The retail management service business operates 21 telecommunications retail service stores in Shanghai, providing telecommunication equipment sales and management services.
