Maoye International Holdings Limited (the “Company”) is a limited liability company incorporated in the Cayman Islands on August 8, 2007. The Company and its subsidiaries (“Group”) mainly operate and manage department stores and property development businesses in the People's Republic of China (“China”). The Company's shares were listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Limited (“Stock Exchange”) on May 5, 2008 (the “Listing Date”). Since its establishment, the Group has rapidly emerged under its unique “retail+commercial real estate” model, and has achieved large-scale replication and expansion across the country. The Group uses low-cost land acquisition to pave the way for physical retail businesses to backfeed, and create a closed ecological loop of complementarity and mutual assistance for core businesses. Since the opening of its first store, Shenzhen Dongmen, in 1997, the Group has gone through more than 20 years of dedicated development and careful layout. With its strong competitiveness and reform and innovation that keeps pace with the times, the Group has gradually consolidated its leading position in the South China region, and has further expanded into the hinterland markets of East China, Southwest China and the fastest growing region, and has become an industry leader in many regions. As of December 31, 2023, the Group has 49 stores, with a total construction area of about 3.1 million square meters, of which 78.1% of its own property area. Key cities covered include Shenzhen and Zhuhai in Guangdong; Chengdu, Nanchong, and Mianyang in Sichuan; Chongqing; Wuxi, Yangzhou, Taizhou, Nanjing and Huai'an in Jiangsu; Zibo, Laiwu and Heze in Shandong; Qinhuangdao and Baoding in Hebei; Shenyang and Jinzhou in Liaoning; Taiyuan, Shanxi; and Hohhot and Baotou in Inner Mongolia.
