Wutong International Development Limited (the “Company”) is an integrated enterprise (stock code: 00613) listed in Hong Kong. Its diversified business is divided into the following business segments: Financial Services — Holds Class 1, Class 2 and Class 9 licences granted under the Securities and Futures Ordinance, and engages in the business of providing securities trading, margin financing services, futures contract trading and asset management services under the Securities and Futures Ordinance licences; Credit and loan services — a business that holds a license granted under the Money Lenders Ordinance and generates interest income from segmented lending activities under the Money Lenders Ordinance license; The Tactical and Strategic Investments segment trades and holds debt and equity securities to obtain interest and dividend income from investments in related securities; and The Property Investment and Leasing segment includes leasing properties directly owned by the Group to obtain rental income and/or potential capital appreciation. Brief history The Company was listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (the “Stock Exchange”) in November 1993. On June 12, 2019, the Company held an annual general meeting of shareholders and passed a resolution approving the change of the company's English name “Yugang International Limited” to “Planetree International Development Limited” and adopting the Chinese name “Wutong International Development Co., Ltd.” as the company's second name.
