The company was incorporated in Shenzhen on December 30, 1996. It is mainly engaged in the investment, construction and management of toll road business and major environmental protection business. Currently, the major environmental protection business areas mainly include solid waste resource treatment and clean energy. In addition, the company also provides construction management and comprehensive highway maintenance services to the government and other enterprises, and relies on relevant management experience and resources to carry out service businesses such as project development and management, road maintenance, intelligent transportation, engineering management, and industrial finance. As of the date of this report, the Company has operated and invested in a total of 16 highway projects. The number of high-grade highway mileage invested or operated is reduced by about 643 kilometers according to the shareholding equity ratio; it has actively participated in many regional urban infrastructure development projects and invested in 19 environmental protection, clean energy, and financial projects; and has various platform companies for investment, construction, operation, environment, urban infrastructure and new energy. The Company has issued 2,180,770,326 shares of common stock, of which 1,433,270,326 A-shares are listed and traded on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, accounting for about 65.72% of the company's total share capital; 747,500,000 H shares are listed and traded on the Stock Exchange, accounting for about 34.28% of the company's total share capital. The largest shareholder of the Company is Xintong Co., Ltd., one of the founders of the Company and currently a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shenzhen International (stock code: 00152), a company listed on the Stock Exchange. Currently, it holds about 30.03% of the company's shares; since December 2008, Shenzhen International has indirectly held more than 50% of the company's shares and has become an indirect controlling shareholder of the company.
