Wong's Port Construction (Group) Co., Ltd. was established in 1975. In the early days, it mainly provided equipment, materials and various services to the printed circuit board industry in the Asian market. The founder of the group, Mr. Wang Huaxiang, began setting up a factory in Hong Kong, China, to produce and supply printed circuit boards as early as 1962. As the factory grew, Wong's Port Construction began trading and distribution business in 1979. In 1983, the company was listed on the Hong Kong stock market and changed its name to Wong's Industrial (Shares) Limited. Wong's Port Construction became one of the wholly-owned subsidiaries. In the 80s, Wong's port construction began to diversify. Electronics assembly manufacturing equipment was added to a wide range of distribution services, followed by electronic toys, consumer electronics, and video game consoles. In 1982, Wong's Port Construction established a contract project department to provide a complete set of plant equipment and supporting design, supply, commissioning and installation of manufacturing equipment, and employee training. In 1986, a major subsidiary body was established to supply semiconductor devices for the developing electronics manufacturing industry in Hong Kong, China, and mainland China. In 1989, Wong's Port Construction split from Wong's Industrial (Co., Ltd.) Co., Ltd. and became an independent listed holding company. Since then, in order to achieve the group company's goal of diversification and steady development, the company developed into several business divisions, including OEM processing and tourism. The business scope covers “production equipment and production materials for multi-layer and flexible printed lines”, “surface mount (SMTA) and production materials” and “semiconductor equipment (semi-conductors) and production materials”. Over the past 30 years, the Group's activities have continued to grow, and the business and technology involved have continued to expand to all parts of the world.
