The Bank was founded in January 1997, and its predecessor was “Jinzhou City Cooperative Bank”. In 1998, with the approval of the People's Bank of China, the Bank changed its name to “Jinzhou Commercial Bank Co., Ltd.” and is headquartered in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. In 2008, with the approval of the Banking Regulatory Commission, the bank changed its name to “Bank of Jinzhou Co., Ltd.” After successive capital increases and changes, the Bank's current total share capital is 678,16157 million yuan. The company's successive capital increases have been as follows: On October 27, 2017, the Bank successfully completed the issuance of overseas preferred shares of US$1,496 million. The issuance this time is a non-cumulative sustainable foreign preferred stock with a dividend rate of 5.50%. Taking into account the buffering influence of exchange rate fluctuations, the capital raised was approximately RMB 9,944 billion, which will be used to supplement other Tier 1 capital after deducting issuance fees. This move not only further optimizes the Bank's capital structure and consolidates its operating strength, but also actively explores and implements multi-level capital replenishment mechanisms.
