The company was restructured and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on December 26, 2018. China Merchants Port has established a relatively complete port network at major hub ports along the coast of China. The terminals it invests in or has investment and management rights all over Hong Kong, Taiwan, Shenzhen, Ningbo, Shanghai, Qingdao, Tianjin, Dalian, Zhangzhou, Zhanjiang, Shantou, etc., and has successfully laid out six continents, including Asia, Africa, Europe, Oceania, South America, and North America. China Merchants Port is actively implementing the “Belt and Road” initiative and has further consolidated its position in the international market in recent years. It is mainly engaged in four types of business: port investment and operation, comprehensive development, smart technology and port ecosystem. The company was selected in the “Central Enterprise ESG · Pioneer 50 Index”, ranked ninth in the index list, won the “2021 Top 20 Board Governance Top 20” award, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's 4th “Blooming Cup” 5G Application Competition Gold Award, and the 2021 World Ports Association (IAPH) Sustainability Award. Five new locations were opened in the first half of 2023, with a total of 30 locations serving nearly 6,000 import and export enterprises, and a total of more than 400,000 TEUs have been completed since operation.
