Henderson Land Development Limited is a real estate development group with leading positions in Hong Kong and the Mainland, founded by Dr. Lee Shau-ki and Bauhinia Xun in 1976. Its core business includes property development and property investment. In addition, the Company also holds interests in two listed subsidiaries, namely Henderson Development Limited and Miramar Hotels & Resorts Limited, as well as three listed joint ventures, namely Hong Kong China Gas Limited (which holds interests in a listed subsidiary, Ganghua Smart Energy Co., Ltd.), Hong Kong Ferry (Group) Co., Ltd., and Sunshine Real Estate Investment Trust. The company was listed in Hong Kong in 1981 and has since developed into one of the largest real estate developers in Hong Kong. As of December 31, 2023, the Company's market capitalization was HK$116 billion. Together with its listed subsidiaries and associated companies, the total market value was approximately HK$252 billion. The company operates in a vertically integrated manner and supports its core business with construction, project and property management.
