Hong Kong Central Gas Co., Ltd. (Towngas) was founded in 1862 and was the first utility company in Hong Kong, China. Today, we are one of the largest energy suppliers in Hong Kong, with world-class corporate management and leading business practices. Over the past few years, Towngas has grown together with Hong Kong, growing from a simple gas company that supplies fuel for street lights to a leading position in the energy industry in mainland China and elsewhere.
