May Nonfarm Payrolls Preview: Balancing Labor Market Signals Decelerating Hiring Momentum
May's nonfarm payrolls report will be released at 8:30 ET this Friday. The median forecast of analysts for the May nonfarm employment is 190,000. The slowdown in hiring in the leisure and hospitality industry and government sectors is expected to continue in May.

The European Central Bank, in a widely telegraphed move, is seen trimming its key rate from 4% to 3.75%, its first rate cut in nine years.
The move would follow the Bank of Canada's rate cut on Wednesday to 4.75% from 5%. Central banks in Sweden and Switzerland also have trimmed rates this year.
